Notion 3.7 turns team prompts into reusable Agent skills

Notion 3.7 adds reusable team skills, a shared skills library and portability to external AI coding agents.

What changed

Notion 3.7 introduces reusable Agent skills that teams can create once and run again from Notion Agent. Skills can live in a shared library, giving teams one place to maintain recurring instructions rather than leaving useful prompts scattered across private chats and documents. Notion also says teams can download skills as SKILL.md packages for use with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini and Grok. The release expands Custom MCP connections so Notion Agent can connect to services such as GitHub and Amplitude, with confirmations before connected tools make changes.

Why it matters

The important shift is not another AI writing feature. It is the move from individual prompting to reusable, governed operating instructions. For teams evaluating Notion as a broader work platform, AI workflow consistency and portability are becoming part of the product decision.

Buyer takeaway

Teams that already standardise recurring research, review, onboarding or planning workflows have a stronger reason to evaluate Notion's agent layer. Buyers should still check plan availability, governance requirements and how well the exported skill format fits the other agents in their stack.
