ToolScout
Terms of service

Using ToolScout.

These terms govern use of ToolScout's public website, software catalog, comparison tools, public APIs and AI integrations.

Informational service

ToolScout provides software discovery, comparison and editorial decision support. Recommendations are informational and are not a guarantee that a product will meet every requirement. Product capabilities, pricing and availability can change.

Independent ranking

ToolScout may have affiliate relationships with some software providers. Affiliate participation or commission does not determine recommendation ranking, search order or comparison results.

Third-party products

Purchases, subscriptions, accounts and contracts with software vendors are between you and the relevant vendor. Vendor terms, privacy policies, pricing and service commitments apply when you leave ToolScout.

Public API and AI integrations

ToolScout's public MCP and recommendation interfaces are read-only decision-support services. Do not use them to misrepresent ToolScout data, bypass access controls, overload the service or imply a partnership or endorsement that ToolScout has not stated.

Accuracy and availability

ToolScout aims to use current, documented software information but cannot guarantee that every field is complete or current at all times. Where a decision depends on a time-sensitive fact, verify it before purchase or implementation.

Changes

ToolScout may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
